1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of nicanico.com and its related project NicaFinds (together, the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. What the Site Does

The Site is a curated visual catalog. We select and organize home, decor, and lifestyle products and publish them as a browsable collection, and we operate a companion social media presence on Pinterest. Product listings, prices, availability, and fulfilment are provided and controlled by third-party merchants, not by us.

3. Affiliate Relationships & Third-Party Links

The Site participates in affiliate advertising programs. Clicking certain links on the Site may take you to a merchant’s website, and we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases made there, at no additional cost to you.

• Amazon Associates: nicanico / NicaFinds is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
• Our role:We are not the seller of any product listed on the Site. Purchases are made directly with the merchant, and the merchant’s own terms, pricing, return policy, and warranty apply to that transaction.
• No price guarantee:Any pricing, availability, or product detail is determined solely by the merchant and may change at any time without notice. The merchant’s listing is always the authoritative source.

4. Pinterest Developer API

The Site uses Pinterest developer tools and APIs to support content curation, publishing of our own curated boards, and related analytics. Our access to and use of Pinterest data complies with the Pinterest Developer Terms of Service, the Pinterest API documentation, and the Pinterest Privacy Policy. We do not use Pinterest APIs to access, collect, or process data belonging to Pinterest users without authorization, and any Pinterest-sourced content is attributed and linked to its origin.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or the terms of any linked third-party platform.
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract content, contact details, or data from the Site without prior written permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any connected system or network.
• Reproduce, redistribute, or republish Site content or imagery for commercial purposes without permission.

6. Intellectual Property

The Site’s original design, layout, text, and branding are owned by nicanico and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party product imagery remains the property of the respective merchant or rights holder and is referenced or linked in accordance with their terms. Photography used on the Site is credited to its source where required by that source’s licence.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, nor that any product information referenced through the Site is accurate, complete, or current.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, nicanico shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or any purchase made from a third-party merchant through the Site.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
